| Follicle |
A dry single-celled many-seeded fruit consisting of a single carpel dehiscing by the ventral suture. |
| Functional diversity |
Genetic diversity as assessed by variation in transcribed regions of the genome that is known to be associated with a biological function. |
| Funicle |
A stalk by which an ovule or seed attaches itself to the fruit wall. |
